“As I Watch the Fiesta”
I can hear all the yelling and cheering,
kids laughing and screaming.
Everyone was having fun,
so the fiesta has begun.
As I hear the choir sing a joyful tune,
I sit quietly under the moon.
It was like a theme park,
the colorful rides in the dark.
I felt excluded,
when everyone, but me, was included.
But as I hear the joyous laughter,
I know I’ll be no disaster.
So the fiesta has ended in happiness,
but I truly wish it were endless.
